INTERSECTIONALITY
„"This focus on the most privileged group members marginalizes those who are multiply-burdened, and obscures claims that cannot be understood as resulting from discrete sources of discrimination".“
Kimberlé Crenshaw, 1989
Intersektionalität beschreibt das Zusammenwirken verschiedener Diskriminierungdimensionen.
The concept of intersectionality shows that discrimination occurs at different levels and that new forms of discrimination arise through the combination of several characteristics.

EQUAL TREATMENT LAW (AGG)
The AGG (Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz) was enforced 2006 in Germany to prevent discrimination in workspaces and to promote (economic) equality.
It forms the legal framework of a discrimination-sensitive environment and sets out clear rules for companies how to deal with diversity and discrimination.
